A modern platform for managing workplace displays

Dashplay is a cloud-based Content Management System (CMS) designed to manage dashboards, media and communication content across workplace screens. From a single central platform, organisations can control what is displayed on screens across offices, departments and locations.

By connecting content sources, screen groups and display devices through a central cloud platform, Dashplay ensures the right information appears on the right screens at the right time.

How Dashplay Works

Dashplay uses a central cloud CMS to manage and distribute content across screens throughout the organisation. Administrators can add dashboards, images, videos and announcements, organise them into layouts and playlists, and assign them to screen groups.

The workflow follows a simple structure:

  1. Content sources such as dashboards, images, videos and announcements are added to Dashplay
  2. Content is organised into layouts and playlists
  3. Screens are assigned to screen groups such as Executive, Sales or Operations
  4. Dashplay player devices synchronise content from the platform
  5. Screens display the content continuously with automatic updates

Cloud Content Management

Dashplay is managed through a secure cloud-based platform that allows administrators to control screens and content from anywhere.

The CMS allows users to:

  • Upload and manage media content
  • Display dashboards and web content
  • Create and edit screen layouts
  • Schedule content playback
  • Manage screen groups and devices
  • Monitor screen connectivity and status

Because the platform is cloud-based, screens can be managed centrally across multiple offices and locations without local server infrastructure.

Dashboard Display

Dashplay enables organisations to display live dashboards and operational data on large screens throughout the business.

Dashboards are displayed using secure web connections and can automatically refresh to ensure the latest information is visible.

Dashplay supports displaying dashboards from:

  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Grafana
  • Matomo

Dashboards can also be displayed alongside announcements, images or video content within the same screen layout.

Layout Designer

Dashplay includes a built-in layout designer that allows organisations to control how information appears on screens.

Screens can be divided into multiple regions so different types of content can be displayed simultaneously.

Layouts can include:

  • Dashboards and web content
  • Images and videos
  • Announcements and company messages
  • News feeds and weather
  • Clocks, tickers and information panels
  • Different layouts can be created for different screen groups or departments.

Content Scheduling

Dashplay provides flexible scheduling tools that control when and where content appears.

Content can be scheduled for specific times, dates or events, ensuring screens always display relevant information.

Examples include:

  • Showing dashboards during working hours
  • Displaying announcements at scheduled intervals
  • Publishing urgent notifications instantly
  • Running media content at specific times of day

Screen & Player Management

Each display is powered by a dedicated Dashplay player device connected to the Dashplay platform.

Players automatically synchronise content from the CMS and display it on the connected screen.

Administrators can monitor and manage screens across the organisation, including:

  • Viewing screen connectivity and last check-in
  • Managing screen groups
  • Updating content remotely
  • Monitoring player status

This allows large networks of screens to be managed from a single platform.

Reliable & Scalable

Dashplay is designed to support anything from a single screen to large networks of displays across multiple locations.

The platform provides:

  • Centralised cloud management
  • Distributed screen networks
  • Continuous display operation
  • Automatic content synchronisation
  • Scalable deployments across departments and sites

This architecture ensures screens remain reliable, up to date and easy to manage.
